Authentic hand painted pen kalamkari saree on a handwoven benarsi tussar silk base. The lower/skirt base of the saree has the words Rabta ( meaning God ) written on it and the pallu part of the saree is painted with a floral design. The saree has been finished with a back border to give it a lovely finish when you move. It comes with a matching blouse piece with Rabat written on it.

Please note authentic hand drawn pen Kalamkari sarees have a unique smell as they are boiled in milk at the time of production. This does not mean that there is anything wrong with the saree, it is a sign of its authenticity. These are handmade sarees so slight imperfections like smudges of colours, broken hand painted lines are to be expected.

The blouse worn by the model is not included.
