A beautiful hand painted real pen kalamkari wall painting depicting goddess Varahi, made by skilled artists from India for The Ayush Kejriwal Art Project.
Size - 65 x 50 inches ( approximately)
The image depicts a form of Lord Vishnu known as Vishvarupa or the Universal Form, described in the Bhagavad Gita when Krishna reveals his cosmic form to Arjuna.
In this depiction, the god has multiple heads, arms, and weapons, along with representations of animals and divine beings within his body. This form symbolises that all beings, gods, and elements of the universe exist within him. The flames from the mouth represent his power to create and destroy.
The product comes unframed
Made with organic and vegetable colours.
Please note this is a completely handmade product so there will be a little variation when the piece is made again and slight variations in colour and the artwork in natural. Crooked lines, smudged paints and slight imperfections are always expected. These handpainted artworks are imperfectly beautiful.
I work with over 46 families and together we make beautiful clothes and jewelry. We do not produce in bulk and only 1-3 pieces are made of each design. Every purchase you make has a direct impact on all of us and helps us in keeping the wonderful crafts of India alive.
I have shared the profiles of some of the amazing artists and craftsmen from our team here (Who made your clothes), they are the wind beneath my wings. Thank you for being a part of our story and making a difference.
