Benarsi

Benarsi sarees personify elegance, grace, opulence, and style to me. Over the years I have worked with numerous kinds of benarsi textiles including – brocade, moonga silk, benarsi tussar, kora silk, spun silk, and cotton. I love how the weavers in Benaras are able to create the most intricate patterns and motifs using vibrant colours along with a sari. The effect is magical. I love playing with this textile and experimenting with it, more so visiting Benaras is so much of fun!
